George House Trust has 150 places reserved for the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 20 May.
We need your help to make this event a success!
Following our successful debut with 20 runners in 2005 Great Manchester Run, and 77 in 2006, this year we have twice as many - 150 places - for runners.
The 10km run takes place on Sunday 20 May and starts and finishes in Manchester city centre.
Being part of the George House Trust Team you will:
* get your own sponsorship package including a personal webpage for raising sponsorship money
* be guaranteed entry into the race as part of the George House Trust team
* have a limited edition George House Trust Great Manchester Run t-shirt
* be welcomed to use our own marquee before and after the race for refreshments.
* be invited to the thank you party afterwards!
Running for GHT will cost you nothing. We will pay your £20 registration fee for you.
All we ask you to do is to raise a minimum sponsorship money amount of £100.00.
All money raised will go into our Welfare Fund at George House Trust which supports people living with HIV in the North West in financial hardship.
If people sponsor you or donate using the Gift Aid scheme, we can claim from the Treasury an extra 28% on money paid by UK taxpayers.
Information about sponsorship will be sent out to runners once they are registered.
We also need friends and volunteers to help on the day in our charity tent, and as "cheerers-on" around the whole course.
We only have 150 places, and they are already going quick!
