George House Trust seeks a Director of Services

George House Trust is the North West’s leading HIV charity. We aim to promote the best quality of life for people with or affected by HIV. We have recently restructured our senior management team, and now require two highly committed and experienced professionals to join our dynamic Manchester-based organisation.


Director of Services
35 hours per week. Scale PO3-5 £31,653 - £36,636 (plus 8% pension)

George House Trust delivers high quality advice, advocacy and support services to our service users within our office and in clinical and other community settings. Last year our direct services team worked with 1,500 people across the North West region.

We seek a dynamic and strategic director who will ensure both the effective delivery and ongoing development of quality services to positive people.

You will need significant experience in a senior management role coupled with an excellent understanding of HIV and current issues within the HIV sector.

We require a team player, who is also self-motivated, and able to undertake high levels of delegated authority.

As a line manager, and a strategic director, you will have excellent leadership skills in order to assist the Chief Executive and trustees in the successful management of the organisation.
