George House Trust is the North West of England's leading HIV charity. We aim to promote the best quality of life for people living with HIV.

We are seeking a highly committed and experienced professional to join our dynamic Manchester-based organisation.

35 hrs per week.
SCP 26-34 £ £21,412 - £27,594(plus 8% pension)

Volunteers are central to George House Trust’s ability to deliver a wide range of quality services. We currently have 130 dedicated volunteers providing a wide range of skills.

We are looking for an experienced Volunteer Co-ordinator to manage and administer all systems for volunteer activity, including recruitment, retention, supervision and support.

You will need experience of managing volunteers, and an understanding of the challenges and benefits involved in volunteering.

You will also need excellent communication and organisational skills.

You will co-ordinate volunteers to support the services provided to HIV positive people and to deliver volunteer fundraising and other events.

This post will require flexibility with some regular evening and weekend work.

You must also want to work for a campaigning organisation
