FESTIVAL DIRECTOR - MANCHESTER PRIDE
circa £35k

Manchester Pride is one of the UK's largest annual lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Pride celebrations, involving a diverse range of activity, including film, arts & entertainment, sport, heritage, and campaigning, culminating in The Big Weekend celebrations of parade and partying in Manchester's famous Gay Village. Working for key charitable partners, the event has raised over £1/4 milion for charity, and has won the "Best Tourism Experience" award in the Manchester Tourism Awards, over the last two years. It is now a key part of the city's calendar.

The festival requires an innovative, dynamic and creative individual to lead and build on the successes achieved over the past three years, shaping the future vision of the festival, and working with organisers of the main satelite events.

You will need experience in event management, fundraising, marketing, and partner development
with community, statutory and commercial organisations.
